History of The Wire Association International – Establishment of the Poland Chapter
The establishment of the Poland Chapter of the WAI was associated with many obstacles. It was difficult to obtain permission from the WAI in the United States to create a similar Chapter in Poland. However persistent cooperation with the Wire Journal International and the continuous involvement of Poles in important scientific research resulted in a successful effort to establish the first International chapter of the WAI.
On May 8, 2002, according to a directive from County Court in Katowice, follows entry organization in National Registry Societies. An idea to establish the Poland Chapter met with assent by Community WAI already in 1999 during the International Conference in Zakopane.
